It is with excitement that I update our school website, as the new Teaching Principal!

I grew up in Kaingaroa Forest Village and have many dear memories of attending this school.

It was and still is, the heart of the community.  I am enjoying getting to know the tamariki and

it is exciting to see it growing within these early weeks of Term 1 2017.

We currently have one classroom, Years 1 through to Year 8.  The tamariki are terrific and are so eager to learn!

There are plenty of opportunities to learn on their own, in pairs, through turkana/teina interactions and as

part of a small group.  We continue to develop whanaunatanga so our school is a place where all are

welcomed and supported.  We are developing an atmosphere filled with aroha, filled with learning and

dedication to personal bests!

We would love to hear from you!  I am currently developing our connections with the wider community and

world through the use of our school Face Book page as well as beginning to utilise Google Apps For Education!

If you have a celebration or memory of your time here, want to know how you can support us and our learning,

or just want to wish us all the best in our learning, please contact us!
